Herbert Construction Company was founded in 1978 by Barry and Linda Herbert in Southwest Michigan. Over the years their two sons, Mike Herbert and Doug Herbert, and their daughter, Amanda (Herbert) Morris, joined the family business.

In 1998 we acquired a concrete foundation company in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout the next year we relocated much of our equipment and employees to the Atlanta location and closed up the business in the Midwest.

In Austin and San Antonio, we saw the demand for a better way to build walkout basement foundations, and Mike Herbert moved his family here to run this location for us.

Whether it is our company headquarters in Atlanta, or our significant branches in Austin and San Antonio, our company continues to be run with the values of a family business.
